Supermodel Bella Hadid has publicly shared her long-term struggle with chronic illness, admitting that the anxiety she faces around her health is so real. In her stories, she posted on Instagram on November 14, she reposted a meme about the relentless nature of chronic illness. The Meme read, “When your chronic illness is chronic illnessing and someone says it’s always something with you, yes, one might say the illness is chronic”. Rather than captioning it, she let the image speak for itself.
In other story, she shared a post by influencer Alexandra Wildeson that dealt with the ” duality” of having a chronic condition and added her own voice, saying,” The medical anxiety is soooooo real, Thank you for putting every one of my thoughts and daily situations into one swipe. The truuuuuth”.
Bella has been open about her medical condition. During the month of September, she also posted her photos from the hospital when she was receiving treatment for lyme disease. Not only this, but she also shared her pictures of working out again.Her mother, Yolanda Hadid, has also been concerned and worried about her. She described her daughter as a warrior and how watching her daughter going through such an illness is excruciatingly painful.Bella was first diagnosed with lyme disease when she was 16.Her mother describes that her symptoms have included joint pain, chronic fatigue, brain fog and anxiety. Her mother expressed that there are even days wen she sleeps for 12 hours but again cannot get out of bed.
